Time for another 'Tru-ish' tale of Denizens, Bars, Characters of the 'Longest Wickedest Street in America' and Other Low Places. Time for a new 30 MILES OF CRAZY! (#71)
This week! The first new 30 MILES that is not in the original collection (which compiles 30MOC #1-70 and is still on sale!) So because of this (and the fact that it's Halloween), I thought I would do something different, try an experiment, and adapt one of my favorite Edgar Allan Poe poems. Many people rush straight to Poe's 'Raven', but I have always found 'Ulalume' a much better choice. Some people (usually a smaller fellow towards the back with an oddly loud whiny voice who somehow always smells of goats) may complain "But, KARL... this has nothing to do with the city or bars or drinking!!!!" Tough. This is my comic and I get to make up the rules.
So... here is 'Ulalume'... or 'A NIGHT IN THE LONESOME OCTOBER' Also head up, this week's comic is THREE pages (it's a long poem.)
Three... Two... One... Musical Accompaniment! (and I really recommend you listen to this one as you read the comic).... and GO!
Happy Halloween!
SHARE AND ENJOY!
